ENAG aims to meet the requirements of the primary public and private actors in the fields of mineral resources, geothermal energy and deep storage of carbon dioxide. Its purpose is to train high-level specialists in geosciences (post-graduate level), able to take on operational or strategic responsibilities within mining companies or state organizations.
Selecting the best students
ENAG is open to top-level students, from around the world, either as an initial training or as continuing education:
-
students with a Master's degree in Earth Sciences
-
students with a Master's degree in another scientific field and who have a professional project related to mineral resources
-
management-level employees of mining companies or public institutions, who wish to acquire expertise in geosciences
-
students in economy who wish to reorient their career towards mineral resource management.
Top-quality teaching
In order to provide its students with top-quality teaching, ENAG draws from a Geosciences Training network of excellence, that includes French universities and schools, scientific research institutes (BRGM, CNRS, ...), industrial companies and also international experts from abroad. Lectures are provided in French (primarily) and also in English.
The location of ENAG within BRGM's premises in Orléans, with over 700 researchers and engineers in geosciences, provides ENAG students with an optimal working environment. At the end of the ENAG specialization year, a "mineral resource specialty diploma" is delivered.
